Michael Baxter, a cop working for the NYPD, begins an average day, doing errands, making the rounds, when he's called in to investigate an armed robbery. In the process of rescuing a civilian, Michael is shot and flat lines. But instead of waking up on heaven's shore, Michael awakens in the year 2111! Through the advanced technology of cryonics, Michael somehow survived the attack, and must now learn how to cope with the loss of his old life, the loss of his family, and adapt to the new mean streets of New York City with his loose-cannon partner, Cher?
Its a sci-fi, adventure comedy, that I hope at least interests some. I look forward to hearing your comments, and please look forward to more of the story

The idea of coping with loss is a very touchy issue, which makes me wonder what this novel has to come. This is something that I would like to read.
